Doan Law Firm, LLP is California’s (and perhaps the Nation’s) Largest Family of Attorneys.  Introducing, from left to right: Stephen (fourth born), Jonathan (fifth born), Michael (first born), James (second born), Shawn (third born), and Gregory (father).

Families with five children are becoming more and more rare these days. Families with five sons (and no daughters) are even more rare.  And the only family to our knowledge wherein the father and all five of his sons are bankruptcy attorneys, is our own.

How Could This Happen?
Many clients ask this very question.  It was not planned.  Greg decided to switch careers in the 1980’s.  With five boys in both parochial grade school and high-school, Greg added law school to his already full plate.  It was no easy task by any means.  Dad had set the standard and provided the example by personally walking his talk, “Hard work, discipline, dedication, desire and determination will pay off.  Do not be satisfied with mediocrity, when you can excel if you put your mind and heart into it!”  This reinforced the mentality of the five boys who followed in suit.
 
And don’t forget Mom.  None of this would exist in its present form without her support, encouragement, dedication, and prayers.  Thanks, Mom.  Sometimes we think she was the only sane member of the family for not going to law school.

Integrity Without Compromise
What started off initially as a mom-and-pop-shop “The Law Offices of Attorney Gregory J. Doan” is now “Doan Law Firm, LLP – California’s Largest Family of Attorney.”  As our firm continues to grow to accommodate and serve the needs of the clients within our community, we have “adopted” several more qualified and experienced bankruptcy attorneys and staff members.  Rest assured that your case is in good hands no matter which office you visit or which attorney you meet with.  Every case is personally reviewed by one or more Doan Lawyers prior to filing with the court. 

Extracurricular Activities
All born and raised in Southern California, the Doan Lawyers enjoy surfing, beach volleyball and other outdoor sports and activities.  Avid surfers may recognize some of the Doan Lawyers often conducting “board meetings” out in the breaks of various surf spots in the early mornings before most judges and clients ever roll out of bed.
